Jarrett Bartlett is a recording, mix, and mastering engineer based in Ottawa, Canada.

Over two decades, he has built his career elevating underground recordings and award-winning artists like Andy Shauf, Lido Pimienta, and The Acorn. He has served as technical director for independent music festivals, as well as managed production for large-scale events at national institutions.

Graduating from Toronto’s Harris Institute of the Arts, Bartlett has produced Polaris-nominated albums, recorded in every DIY/remote space imaginable, and is a house engineer at Ottawa’s legendary tape-based recording studio Little Bullhorn Productions (Kathleen Edwards, Howe Gelb, Sly & Robbie).

Bartlett has over 10 years experience as a contract audio consultant. He served as founding technical director of Ottawa’s Arboretum and MEGAPHONO festivals, and has been a stage manager for Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest and CityFolk. Since 2012 he has been an Event Production Coordinator at the Canadian War Museum, and the Canadian Museum of History.

He also loves breakfast cereal, and balmy, late night summer walks with good music in his headphones.
