Recording

I've been fortunate to have recorded in many places: studios, cottages, basements, churches, etc. I've used computers and countless reels of 2" tape, each with classic and contemporary gear.

There are pros and cons to each scenario, and there's a suitable approach for any project and budget.

REMOTE

A good sounding space is key. If you have that (or even if not), I can come to you.

STUDIO

I've been working at Ottawa’s legendary Little Bullhorn studio for fourteen years. Likely the best equipped studio in the city, it is home to some of the world's most cherished pieces of recording gear - API console, 16-track 2" tape recorder, EMT plate reverb, Pultec, Urei, Neve, vintage mics and instruments.

Mastering

Mastering ensures your mixes best fit the final source, be it CD, vinyl, digital download, and sometimes cassette. This process helps make your music work on all playback systems. Even with fantastic mixes, small touches in this process can add up to enhance the final sound.

Mixing
